Bituminous carbon is the most commonly used carbon in the aquarium industry. The small pore structure results in medium performance combined with low dust and price. Removes yellowing, pigments, contaminants and irritants from your tank. Great low-cost alternative to our other aquarium carbons.

Instructions: We recommend 1 Tablespoon of BRS Special Grade Bituminous Carbon per 4 Gallons of tank water either placed in a media bag, or reactor.
